π How We Managed Our Debut Budget — And What We Learned from It
Planning a debut is exciting—but also a big responsibility. We were given a 100,000-peso budget, and we wanted to make sure every peso was spent wisely. In the end, we only used 95,958 pesos, and we had 4,042 pesos left. Thanks to good planning and teamwork, the event was a success!
π What the Pie Chart Shows
We created a pie chart to help us see how we used the 95,958 pesos. Here's what we discovered:
•Venue (23.93%) – This was our biggest expense.
•Venue Decor (18.76%) and Photoshoot (18.3%) Both were also major parts of the budget.
•Host & Staff (14.59%), Food & Beverage (10.42%) – These were very important for the flow and comfort of the event.
•Gown & Styler (5.21%), Chair & Table Designs (5.21%), and Other Expenses (4.85%) – These were our smaller expenses, but still necessary.
We also had a contingency fund of 5,000 pesos, just in case something went wrong. Thankfully, we didn’t need to use it because the event ran smoothly with no problems.
π What I Learned from Event Management
This experience taught me a lot about event management. Here are the most important lessons:
•Budget planning is key. You need to know how much to spend and where.
•Teamwork makes everything easier. Everyone should know their role.
•Track every expense so you don’t overspend.
•Always prepare for emergencies, even if they don’t happen.
•Most of all, stay organized and plan ahead.
π¬ Final Thoughts
Thanks to the pie chart and careful budgeting, we were able to stick to our plan, save money, and enjoy a successful debut celebration. Event planning is not just about the party—it’s also about learning how to manage resources, work as a team, and stay calm under pressure.
